Every count here is taken from the register, not typed.
The policy
A correction is a new report with a new accession number. The superseded report stays at its original address for good, marked retracted, carrying a link forward to what replaced it. The lookup reports both, in that relationship. We do not edit a report in place, and we do not take one down.
This applies identically to every result. A low or out-of-specification result is not deleted for the customer who paid for it, or for us: the register refuses a deletion, and a removal would show at its next integrity check.
How to read this log
Each entry names the retracted report, the correction that replaced it, and the reason. Both remain at their original addresses, and the verification lookup returns them in that relationship, so a certificate in circulation can always be traced to its current status.
