Track an order
Every order has one private page that shows where each of its samples stands. The link to it is in the emails we send about the order; this page lists no orders and has nothing to type.
Where the link is
Under “Follow this order” in the order confirmation, in every sample-logged email and in the status digest for a box of several lots. It is private to the order: it appears nowhere on this site, and anyone who has it can read the page, which prints no name, email address or postal address.
Lost the link?
Write to help@cupel.ca from the address the order was placed from, with the order reference in the subject, and we send it again. If the link has reached someone it should not have, say so and we replace it; the old link stops answering at the next rebuild.
What the page shows, per sample
- Received and logged, with the accession number the sample took on receipt.
- In testing, with the date the 10-business-day clock runs out and the days it was paused.
- On hold, with the kind of question we asked and what we need from you; the clock is paused until you answer.
- In review: the results are entered and signed by the reviewer; the report issues next.
- Issued, with a link to the report at its own address.
- Withdrawn, in the words the public register uses for the number.
The page says when it was last updated: it is rewritten each time this site is rebuilt, which happens when a report is published and whenever the laboratory runs Rebuild site.
